SimView® is a Windows or Linux based application designed exclusively by ASE’s engineering staff. SimView® allows the user to monitor and software program in real-time. This inventive approach is quite different from most software debug type programs that are intrusive and require interrupting the application in order for the user to examine the program code. This unique engineering tool allows the engineer to monitor any system variable in real-time. Subsequently the variable can be plotted, changed or otherwise manipulated by other applications such as ASE’s IOS. By utilizing SimView® ‘s very powerful scripting language, complex tasks such as initiating simulated aircraft malfunctions, setting flight dynamics configurations, capturing and plotting multiple flight control parameters or triggering detailed preprogrammed lesson plans are easily performed.
SimView also allows the user to monitor real world engineering data and
interpolation data, respectively. The resultant is a time history graphic
display that can be deployed during the design, test or support phases of
a project to view or set specific data points and system conditions. This
innovative engineering tool is fundamental to ASE’s success in meeting
rigorous aeronautical performance standards in the world of integrated high
fidelity training systems.
